Coupling quantitative measurements with analytical calculations of the expected magnetic stray field, we are able to estimate the spin-density wave amplitude locked to the cycloid on films subjected to different strains, and provide unexpected deviations of the exotic cycloid direction with respect to crystallographic axes.
