Amr Abdelsamie is a postdoctoral researcher at Unité Mixte de Physique CNRS/Thales - Université Paris-Saclay, France. His research interests center around studying antiferromagnetic (AFM) textures in the multiferroic BiFeO3 (BFO). He grows BFO epitaxial thin films by means of pulsed laser deposition enabling him to control and manipulate the AFM textures in BFO through epitaxial strain.
