CNRS/Thales - Student - Multiferroics

Arthur Chaudron started his Ph.D in December 2021 at CNRS-Thales on the experimental design and control of multiferroic topological nanotextures in BiFeO3 thin films.

Through the variation of strain, thickness, and texture confinement methods, various nano-devices are explored and characterized through piezoresponse force microscopy and scanning NV-center magnetometry, providing insight on the coupling of the ferroelectric and antiferromagnetic properties of BiFeO3.
